Clinical Research Center of the Lausanne Faculty of Biology and Medicine and the CHUV
The new Clinical Research Center / Centre de recherche clinique (CRC) meets an institutional need. It was created in order to provide investigators with methodological, logistical, and educational support, premises and beds, as well as dedicated and specialized personnel. This center is used for research relating to healthy and sick human beings in a variety of different areas, in order to promote the design and realization of clinical trials by adhering to ethics and regulations of good clinical practice. The CRC also constitutes a useful platform for under-graduate and post-graduate teaching for health professionals.
The operational structure of the CRC comprises a methodological and logistical support unit (unité de soutien méthodologique et logistique, USML), training unit (unité de formation, UF) and a clinical investigation unit (unité d’investigation clinique, UIC).
