Clinical Trial Unit at the Kantonsspital St. Gallen (KSSG)
The Clinical Trial Unit (CTU) at the Kantonsspital St. Gallen (KSSG) is part of the medical research centre (Medizinischen Forschungszentrum).
The aim of the CTU is to enhance patient-oriented, clinical research at the KSSG, and to set up and extend a multidisciplinary centre of excellence for clinical studies.
The CTU St. Gallen offers assistance and advice for KSSG employees involved in clinical research. The CTU provides resources and the necessary know-how for the planning, conduct and/or analysis of clinical studies. Moreover, the CTU has a specialised research laboratory for the translation of research results into clinical research and vice versa.

The CTU St. Gallen offers a basic GCP course for clinical investigators and study personnel. This course is offered at the KSSG several times a year.
