DACH Symposium

Three-nation congress on clinical trials in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (D-A-CH)

Every other year, together with the coordination centres for clinical studies in Germany and Austria, the SCTO organises a tri-national congress, the DACH Symposium.

With this congress, the coordination centres aim, firstly, to cover all the aspects of performing a study at a trial site. To this end, various renowned speakers have been invited to share their theoretical knowledge, synthesised accordingly, in lectures. The lectures are followed by workshops where this theory is combined with practice.

Secondly, thanks to a large industry exhibition and generous breaks in the schedule, the congress offers an international platform for attendees to network and exchange experiences in their individual, specialist fields.

The DACH Symposium addresses all involved professional groups: study nurses, study coordinators, medical experts, monitors, data managers, project managers, pharmaceutical industry representatives, as well as patients.

The presentations and discussions at the three-nation congress are mainly held in German.

The 2nd DACH Symposium will be held on 11 and 12 June 2018 in Zurich.
