PPI in a Nutshell: Online course

Online course on patient and public involvement (PPI) for IICT call applicants 2022

About this online course

The Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials (IICT) 2022 call of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) requests that applicants address their approach to patient and public involvement (PPI) both in their letter of intent (LOI) as well as in the application itself.

The SCTO’s PPI in a Nutshell online course is targeted towards clinical research professionals who are considering applying for an IICT grant. It discusses why PPI is particularly useful for the planning and development of clinical trials and provides hands-on advice and examples for an effective and meaningful PPI approach.

The online course is directly linked to the IICT call. It is not intended to train participants on all aspects of implementing PPI in academic clinical research.

The videos and presentations of the 2022 PPI in a Nutshell online courses are available in our section past courses.
