The Swiss Science Council (SWR) has published its report “Research institutions of national importance (Art. 15 FIFG): Assessment of applications for the 2025-2028 funding period for education, research and innovation”. This evaluation, commissioned by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), forms the basis for SERI’s allocation of funds.

The SCTO has received a positive evaluation confirming its key role as a research infrastructure for the further development of the clinical research landscape in Switzerland. The report underscores the SCTO’s central role in optimizing and harmonizing processes, best practices, and methods in clinical research through its platforms and support of Clinical Trial Units (CTUs).
