Forum 2011

Forum "Clinical Research"

Good clinical research: what does this mean?

Over 70 specialists attended the first Forum “Clinical Research”, which was jointly held by the SCTO and the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences SAMS on 26 January 2011 in Bern. This Forum replaced the “Representatives' Meeting of Institutions Involved in Clinical Research” traditionally organised by the SAMS in the past.
Representatives from academic clinical research, the pharmaceutical industry, the institutions for research development as well as the ethics committees presented and discussed their perspectives on the topic of the day: “Good clinical research: what does this mean?”.
Afterwards the institutions reported on their activities in the past year as well as their concerns and goals for the future.
