Over 90 experts attended the fifth Forum “Clinical Research” on 28 January 2015 in Bern. “General Consent – Yes! Bot how?”: experts from the member institutions of the SCTO, namely the university hospitals and the Cantonal Hospital St.Gallen, as well as representatives of authorities were invited to take part in this discussion. Furthermore lectures on current legal and future technical challenges were given and representatives of patient organisations, bioethics, data protection and clinical researchers commented the question “What do patients want and what do researchers need?”.
