Managing Director
Victoria Sarraf brings together the SCTO’s various projects and perspectives. Together with the SCTO’s governing bodies and her team, she defines and coordinates measures for implementing the association’s strategic goals and fulfilling the SCTO’s service agreement with the federal government. To ensure that project planning and implementation go smoothly, she is regularly in direct contact with the SCTO’s various partner organisations.
As a pharmacist with a master’s degree in management, she holds both a scientific and a business degree. Victoria has many years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields within both the public and private sectors. She has also acquired extensive knowledge of the entire pharmaceutical research and development (R&D) process.

Irene Desvoignes works closely with management as she oversees the SCTO’s finances and human resources. In addition, she ensures that the SCTO’s internal processes run smoothly and the appropriate structures are in place. Irene studied business administration and now applies the experience she gained in various positions within different industries to her work at the SCTO.
SwissPedNet Coordinator
Anna Naef
SwissPedNet Coordinator
Anna Naef supports the Swiss Research Network of Clinical Pediatric Hubs (SwissPedNet) in all matters and coordinates with the SCTO on strategic topics related to both organisations. She is the main point of contact for SwissPedNet and both coordinates and enhances the network’s activities and communication. Furthermore, she serves as Switzerland’s national hub representative in the pan-European clinical trial network conect4children.
Through her master of science degree in human movement sciences and sport as well as her extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Anna has gained a deep understanding of the processes and context of clinical research and its related fields. In addition to holding a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Clinical Trial Management from the University Hospital Zurich, she has experience as a clinical trial coordinator in oncology research. This enables her to understand the needs and challenges of research groups when managing a variety of situations in clinical research.

Stephanie Maissen
Scientific Affairs Manager
Stephanie Maissen focuses on the strategic development of the SCTO Platforms, projects in education, and projects at the national level. As one of the liaison officers for the SCTO Platforms, she provides valuable support to the network.
Stephanie holds a PhD in health sciences and has considerable experience in organising and conducting clinical studies. With her profound understanding of the SCTO and its network, she makes an important contribution to advancing excellence in clinical research.

Laurence Chapatte
Scientific Affairs Manager
Laurence Chapatte supports the SCTO in matters related to its overall strategy and governance. She also manages projects associated with the national Coordination Platform for Clinical Research (CPCR) as well as other national working groups and collaborative projects. In addition to assisting with the strategic development of the SCTO, Laurence supports the SCTO Platforms as a liaison officer.
Thanks to her PhD in immunology and her experience overseeing major projects supporting researchers, Laurence has developed an in-depth understanding of the legal and ethical frameworks governing research. Her proficiency in research, operations, and quality management reflects her broad background, which spans the public and private sectors. With her talent for implementing effective organisational and operational processes and her expertise across a range of disciplines, Laurence helps the SCTO achieve its goals.

Linda Finlayson
Scientific Affairs Assistant
Linda Finlayson supports the scientific affairs team and management with her wide range of skills. In addition to having more than eight years of experience in clinical trials, Linda holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Clinical Trial Management from the University Hospital Zurich. She is currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

Communication Strategy and Stakeholder Manager
Sabine Rütti Roch helps the SCTO pursue its mission by developing and maintaining stakeholder engagement in various SCTO projects and by developing and implementing a clear and efficient communication strategy in conjunction with the communication team. In addition, she provides support with the SCTO’s strategy and governance and strives to promote the SCTO as a reference organisation for high-quality, innovative, and patient-oriented clinical research.
Sabine holds a PhD in life science. In addition to having an in-depth understanding of the Swiss and International research landscapes, she has many years of experience in the pharmaceutical and education sectors.

Debora Suter supports the SCTO’s communications team and makes sure that SCTO events run smoothly. After training to be a specialist in photography, she went on to obtain a diploma in commerce and business administration. She then worked for several years in the public sector as an executive assistant, which involved organising events and maintaining a variety of websites.

Fabienne Suero
Communications Manager
Fabienne Suero supports the communications team by helping revise of the SCTO’s communications strategy, implementing activities, and managing PPI project. She is also responsible for operational communications, event planning, and event management. In addition to having worked in marketing in communications, Fabienne has prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
Fabienne holds a master’s degree in communication and society from the University of Fribourg. Thanks to her bachelor’s degree with a minor in psychology, she has a deep understanding of clinical research and methodology.
