As of 2017, the SCTO is a research infrastructure of national importance funded by the State Secretariat of Education, Research and Innovation and the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Is there a future for Swiss Academic Clinical Research?

The fifth symposium of the SCTO was held on 18 June 2014 in Bern. This year’s event was dedicated to the question “Is there a future for Swiss Academic Clinical Research?” and was jointly organised with the Bern University Hospital. Leading national and international experts and stakeholders discussed opportunities and challenges which Swiss academic clinical research is currently facing.
