Die SCTO ist eine eigenständige Organisation und basiert auf einer Initiative des Schweizerischen Nationalfonds und der Schweizerischen Akademie der Medizinischen Wissenschaften.

Seit 2017 ist die SCTO eine vom Staatssekretariat für Bildung, Forschung und Innovation sowie vom Schweizerischen Nationalfonds geförderte Forschungsinfrastruktur von nationaler Bedeutung.

Spezialisierte Forschungseinheiten in akademischen Institutionen in der Schweiz

Die Mitgliedinstitutionen der SCTO sowie ihr CTU-Netzwerk bieten spezialisierte Einheiten für klinische Forschungsprojekte, welche mit Patienten durchgeführt werden und sich entweder in der Frühphase befinden oder deren Fragestellungen besondere Bedingungen und Methoden erfordern.

Das ausführliche Verzeichnis (in Englisch) unten bietet eine systematische Zusammenfassung folgender Informationen:

  • Art der vorhandenen Forschungsstationen in der Schweiz (pathologiespezifisch, altersspezifisch, infrastrukturspezifisch)
